Her eyes are as blue as the ocean,

Full of deep mystery that convey emotion,

Her voice as calm as the waves with no commotion,

Her arms hug her kids like the sun hugs one's skin,

The feeling of warmth and safety all wrapped in one.

The love she has for her children are as big as the sun,

They can tell her things they cannot tell anyone.

Her relationship with her kids grow like the waves,

Some days the waves crash on the shoreline

Leaving damage that engraves.

But turns to calm when one caves.

Her kids look up to her with wonder in their eyes,

About how she raised three bright kids alone−

Her strength and courage shine through the waves,

Teaching her children to grow up brave.

Her morals taught them to fight the currents and the waves.

The children’s love for her is bigger than the ocean.
