I am learning to abandon the world,
For it has certainly abandoned me.
At times I feel as though I am alone
And I am doomed to tragedy
Then I remember in this world of stone
You will never truly have a home
And so these facts I do condone.
I am learning to abandon the world,
For nourishing it no longer pleases me.
Apathy seems to be the flavor of the day
And I'm filled with hate when they look my way
The masks that they wear sicken me and bring chills
And deep in my stomach the bile builds
I cherish this feeling, thinking of the day
I stand up to finally spit it all back in their face.
I am learning to abandon the world,
For although it is comforting, it brings me no joy,
A dying entity can teach very little.
I no longer chase the illusion of beauty
I will no longer allow fear to govern my existence
I have abandoned the world, and I long to watch it burn.
WATCH IT BURN
