Confused, she rips, yanks, and pulls,
And her innocence begins to vanish —
All around her
Pain and sorrow.
The more she thinks,
The more isolated she feels.
Why does life have to be this way?
Her angry thoughts convey.
While she tries to find herself,
The world has left.
The more her anger grows,
The more confusion she shows.
As she looks around and sees what’s done,
She knows that she is not the only one
Who’s lost her mind.
With which sanity was entwined.
Now she looks at dusty faces,
Remembering that image,
Fading inside her heart.
Tears in her eyes,
She finally understands,
The hope she had inside.
