Walt Disney Method
This is a method to turn a dream reality. It's divided into 3 stages, which cannot be overlapped. The order is crucial to be followed.
STAGE 1 - the Dreamer
Everything is possible.
Imagine/create/ invent
Put all your ideas related to the topic you would like to develop, in the paper
The dreamer asks:
What do I want in a real world?
STAGE 2 - the Realistic
Answer the questions, to each idea you had in the first stage:
HOW can I make it happen?
What do I need? Which kind of resources?
NO CENSORSHIP ALLOWED
NO WORD AS "WE CANNOT", "IT'S NOT POSSIBLE"
STAGE 3 - the Critic
The critic reviews all ideas
Look for wholes and try to fulfill them.
The Critic asks:
Is it really the best we can do?
How can we make it better?
Can the idea be still improved?
We used this method to work on topics as inclusion of minorities and youth participation.
