celebrating 10 years spreading news from Latin America

It seems incredible that in the 21st century the right to education is in danger, besieged by the greed and political revenge of those who do not believe that the State has any responsibility in guaranteeing access to knowledge for all.

The current case of Argentina is an example of a disinterested and disinvesting government, but it is also an example of a people united to defend free public education at its three levels. The University of Buenos Aires (UBA) is positioned among the best in the world and produced 5 Nobel Prizes and advances in scientific, technological, and aerospace fields.

Free education is about opening doors and opportunities for everyone and is as fundamental as the air we breathe. Only those who want to subdue the people proclaim that the State has no responsibility in preserving, supporting, and encouraging the right to education.
