Simple Things
A Master of Life that I follow, told of an experience he had with his Master in which he asked him where it was possible to find a safe place in this current uncontrollable world. The Master looked him in the eyes and, after a pause, calmly said, “There is no safe place in today’s world. Security is within yourself.”
The richness of these words made me remember the importance of simple things in our lives. They are what give us peace and tranquility to face the vicissitudes of a world in transition. We always sense this, but today it is more important than ever.
