We don’t see reality as it is

but rather as we are

and our inner child

What is reality? Is there something 100% “real”?

It is very common and known that, in the presence of an event, different witnesses will have different comments about what happened. The event is the same but the views that each one has of that event are different. Why? And, which of those perceptions is the real one? Well, they are all real to the observer!

Each one of us is a very special compound of senses, experiences, joys, sorrows, propaganda, education, upbringing, societies, etc., etc., etc. When we look at “reality” we do so through this composite of what and who we are.

This is why psychologists, scientists and gurus from different traditions maintain that we do not see reality as it is, but as we are.
