It is well known by our nomadic travelers that the Pan-American Highway is cut between Panama and Colombia by a dense jungle full of swamps where there

The land border between Colombia and Panama appears

as one of the great logistical, bureaucratic, and economic difficulties in the way of travelers who want to drive through America. It is precisely in this part of the continent where the Pan-American highway, which connects Alaska with Patagonia, is cut to give way to an impenetrable jungle that has claimed the lives of many who have dared to cross it.
