and 57 years have passed since Bob Dylan composed this song. Much water has flowed under the bridge of life...
Looking back, I can't help but think of the wonder of more than 300 Latino leaders gathered for the 4th Hudson Valley Latino Forum. There, the way forward to unite, spread, promote, help, and consolidate the Latino culture
in a bilingual, multimedia, and interactive way in New York would be
crafted. A bridge stretched from the heart of a state, which speaks two languages, to the rest of the country and to all Latin America.
The rest is history: the monthly magazine, health newsletters, community outreach programs, a community center in the heart of Poughkeepsie, radio and TV programs, and the recognition of a population that takes hold in the region daily, sharing their culture and heritage.
There is no doubt that the times are changing, and I am happy that together with all of you I will discover what we are going to build together from now on...
