Exercise: excessive weight gain can stimulate the overgrowth of malignant cells and cancer. Get 30 minutes of moderate intensity exercise at least five days a week.

Limit alcohol intake: an analysis of several studies showed that those who consumed many alcoholic beverages per day had 1.5 times the risk of developing cancer than those who did not drink alcohol.

Avoid smoking: for years, studies have been examining the cause and effect of smoking and cancer. Smoking in moderation, or quitting, or not getting into the habit is best for your overall health.

Vitamin D: some studies have found that normal levels of Vitamin D tend to lower the risk of cancer. Vitamin D, which is produced when the body is exposed to sunlight or is acquired from food and supplements.
