TANGO,

The Passion to Live

On this occasion Mundo NĂ³mada went to Plaza Dorrego, in the heart of the old San Telmo neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is night, and the square that during the day is occupied by the oldest flea market in the city, is empty of stalls and gives rise to a traditional meeting of the Buenos Aires night. Lights, music, loudspeakers and the track indicate that it is time to dance Tango.

Tango is a world classic both in dance and musical levels that inspires and motivates all its lovers. Tango is passion, emotion, skill, love, sensuality, which surrounds couples in a special realm. Going to a milonga, the place to dance tango, is to abstract oneself from the world and enter a special dimension.

Tango, as a musical genre, emerged in the Rio de la Plata between 1850 and 1890. At that time there was a large influx of Africans and Buenos Aires received ships full of European immigrants. Let's Enjoy!
