We spent almost three weeks in South America. In one trip we saw two worlds, a visit to the beautiful cosmopolitan city of Buenos Aires then a tour of the wild Patagonia region.
We walked the streets of Buenos Aires on the rest day of our arrival. We walked Parks including one with a metallic ower that is solar powered, the walking street called Florida Street, and the very wide and crowded roadway named “9 de Julio Avenue”. Our own personal walking tour was good, a bit tiring and limited. We did not always know the signicance of what we saw.
The next day we signed up for an all day city bike tour with twelve stops to explain culture and history. My husband and I rode all day throughout the city on well marked bike lanes.
