Dubuisson, Jean:
Leader of the post war housing estate, Jean Dubuisson is the father of
the Grand Ensemble. Paradigmatic
example of it is the Maine Montparnasse housing complex in Paris photographed by Andreas Gursky or the
caravelle in Villeneuve-la-Garenne.
The latter is a scientific solution to
the housing problems that consist
of a chirurgical line containing 1700
flats. This sharp complex of glass
and concrete has become one of the
six most criminogenic districts of the
greater Paris.

Diogene syndrom:
Diogenes syndrome, also known as
senile squalor syndrome, is a disorder characterized by extreme
self-neglect, domestic squalor, social withdrawal, apathy, compulsive
hoarding of garbage, and lack of
shame. This patient displays symptoms of catatonia. The name derives
from Diogenes of Sinope, an ancient
Greek philosopher, a Cynic and an
ultimate minimalist, who allegedly
lived in a large jar in Athens.
