2012 ABC National Field Champion FC SAVANNAH’S HOT SHOT The little white and orange pup was delivered to me one spring day. I had seen her uncle, Just Call Me Roy, run at the Free-for-All and when I heard that Patti Hunt was breeding Roy’s only sister, Savannah’s Vamp Hannah, to another dog I admired, FC Keystones Double Shot, I said I want one! From the get go, Savannah’s Hot Shot was precocious and all bird dog, nishing her Field Championship at twenty two months with a ve point win in the 32 dog Open Gun Dog stake at Georgia’s Livermore Farm. She won it with a huge cast around a ten acre island of pines, an all-age move that hinted at performances to come. I sent Bammer or Bam Bam, as I call her, to Ben Lorenson at thirteen months and it is Ben who I have to thank for developing her into the champion she is. Early on,Thank you for your but gradually, under Ben’s Bammer ran a strong shooting dog interest careful hand, she began to stretch things out until earbook! placing she in the ABC National Y was regularly in all-age stakes through out the South. When she won the 2012 site: Purchase your copy on the ABC web International at the DiLane Plantation I knew she would have a chance in Booneville. And, clubs.akc.org/brit/ABCItemsForSale.htm indeed she did, winning the National Championship with a huge cast around Gas Well Hill Bowl, followed by a covey nd! Bammer is home with me now, retired to the couch and about as wonderful a companion as one could have. Thanks Ben, thanks Bam Bam, you two are the best! - Sheri Hudson 45
