Shadow’s legacy is still a work in progress, but
his pups and grand pups have won or placed in many
field trials across the country and in some of the same
prestigious Championships Shadow won. So far the
list includes 4 DC, 10 FC, 1 AFC and 6 CH. Seven of
his offsrping have become hour winners, recording 18
championship placements to date.

Shadow proved his ability on varied game from the
deserts and prairies, to southern plantations. He was a
consistent winner through his career, retiring by placing
in both the National Open and Amateur Championships
as the oldest dog entered. His career reflects the true

hunting desire, instinct, and independence that drove
