KU Law Society Secretary

Introduction

The Law Society have had a successful year with an array of events, some of the highlights include the talk with Phillip Blatchly and our annual law ball. We have thoroughly enjoyed representing the Law School and its students this year, and as a committee have made the decision to begin a new tradition of a Law Society Magazine.

Having spoken to several students about the speaker and employment events held at Kingston University, I have found that students consider such events to be educational but would like more information on how to stand out in the legal sector. I have therefore liaised and interviewed several employers and legal professionals in order to give law students an insight on how to become employable within the legal sector.
