Day 1   Alice Springs – Uluru Sacred Sites & Sunset The camel was a vital animal in the history and development of the Australian outback. Visit a camel farm – perhaps even take a ride on one of these so-called ‘ships of the desert’ – and see towering Atila (Mt. Conner) today as you make your way to Ayers Rock Resort. View the amazing collection of Indigenous paintings at the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre, then tour the base of Uluru with your expert Driver Guide. Continue to the Kuniya Walk, and Uluru the sacred Mutitjulu Waterhole. In the late afternoon, experience the remarkable color changes of Uluru as the sun sets over the world’s largest monolith.
