Expansion of Key Programmes : We will extend the Walking Safely to School Project to additional regions , such as Mamelodi in the Gauteng Province , ensuring more children benefit from safer routes to school . This expansion will involve collaboration with local governments and community organizations to address specific safety concerns .
2 . Development of New Safety Programmes : We aim to introduce new programmes focused on contemporary risks that children face . These initiatives will equip children , parents , and educators with the knowledge and tools to navigate these challenges safely .
3 . Strengthening Partnerships : We will continue to build and strengthen partnerships with government agencies , corporate sponsors , and other nonprofit organizations . These collaborations are essential for scaling up our impact and reaching more children across South Africa .
4 . Sustainable Funding Strategies : To ensure the long-term sustainability of our programmes , we will explore new funding avenues , including corporate sponsorships , grant opportunities , and innovative fundraising campaigns . Diversifying our revenue streams will build a robust financial foundation for future growth .
This will be a collaboration with the Automobile Association of South Africa ( AASA ) as the grant recipient , funding from the FIA Foundation .
