• Invitation by UCT SHAWCO to support the Community Outreach Day in the Imizamo Yethu informal settlement , Hout Bay . This event was done in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Hout Bay in September 2023 .
○ On 13 October 2023 the global community celebrated International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction and the Annual Launch of the Fire Awareness campaign : Working on Fire , in partnership with Provincial Disaster Management and Cape Winelands District , launched the Fire Awareness campaign in Stellenbosch in October 2023 . This event created an opportunity to acknowledge the progress being made toward reducing disaster risks and losses in lives , livelihoods , and health .
○ ChildSafe supported and participated in the Palliative Care Day celebration organized by the Red Cross Hospital Nursing Team in October 2023 .
○ ChildSafe hosted the Hospital ’ s Social Work Team for a Gender Based Violence Workshop in October 2023 .
○ ChildSafe ’ s “ Imagine a World ” campaign celebrated ChildSafe ’ s 45 years of service This event took place in November 2023 . Our guests became participants , crafting the “ Imagine a World ” campaign for an ongoing focus on child injury prevention using messages collected on the day .
