Having begun as a small , local entity , ChildSafe has matured through networking , dedication , and effort into an organization that liaises nationally and globally , promoting and carrying forward international best practices for the children of South Africa . Using limited resources , through cooperation and collaboration , advocacy and focused research , ChildSafe aimed to provide insight and foresight to all three tiers of South African government agencies , educators , parents , and the public at large on a wide array of preventable childhood injuries .
