the origin of the universe

The most common and agreed up theory is one that has been debated for years and is known as “The Big Bang” theory. It was first theorized by A Belgian priest named Georges Lemaître in the late 1920s. This theory was born of the observation that other galaxies are moving away from our own at great speed in all directions, as if they had all been propelled by an ancient explosive force, this observation had been presented by Edward Hubble. The theory maintains that, in the instant—a trillion-trillionth of a second—after the big bang, the universe expanded with incomprehensible speed from its pebble-size origin to astronomical scope. Expansion has apparently continued, but much more slowly, over the ensuing billions of years. Many scientists also believe that as time had passed after the big bang, the cooling down of the solar system has given way to form new atoms which in time has actually turned into stars and galaxies that exist today.
