While this photo may not have a name or a face to it, it is an excellent visual to help you understand what life was like before the great deprerssion. This is a picture of an elegant party in the early 1920s when money was more of a luxury, but also when overspending was at its highest. Its not just the party itself that shows the reckless spending that led to the great depression, it's an example of all the ways money was being recklessly spent.
