Cinquera, is a municipality of Cabañas. Its limits are to the north with the Embalse del Cerrón Grande; To the east it borders Tejutepeque and Jutiapa; To the south limits with Tenancingo of the department of Cuscatlán and to the west it does with Suchitoto of the department of Cuscatlán

Among the attractions that its visitors can enjoy, we find not only the village and its picturesque environment, but also the Quezalapa river, panoramic views of one of the most important wetlands of the country and category "Ramsar site" is Cerron Grande wetland
