TIME FOR CHANGE
As the editor of Savoir Faire I would assume most men thing that I live the "Hugh Hefner" type of life. A big mansion, Celebrity studded parties, models around me all the time and all the other iconic images that we can picture in our minds about the original Playboy.
But the facts are I am nothing like him. My life is not a party and when it comes to women, the first thing I think of is the late, great Aretha Franklin's biggest hit R-E-S-P-E-C-T.
I was raised by a single mother who tough me the value of respect. It is something that is earned and not given. With out the respect of people we cant grow, our legacy is never learned, and eventually you become the one person no one wants to be around and your casted away.
Respect for man kind is the key to success and showing and living it even when the spotlight is not on you is the humblest quality a person can poses.
But not just man kind, but woman specifically deserve our respect.
As men we have a roll in this world that goes back to the beginning, to protect and honor woman. The same way you respect your mother, grandmother and wife is the same way you should respect all woman.
Its not that women are the weaker sex, actually in my view they are the stronger sex and with the ability to create life and still do all that a man can do, its the obvious choice to respect women all the time.
Not only my mother, but my grandmother and sisters were influencers in my life and the way I treat women and the respect I have for them.
