Dj PaperChase, was born Chase Cradit in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 31st, 1985. He was raised by his Father, Rod Cradit II. His Grandfather was lengendary jazz musician and big band conductor on the Las Vegas strip, Rod Cradit, so the deep love of music runs in his blood line. Jazz, the music of his youth, helped develop his taste for a smooth sexy type of sound, that bleeds through in his house music mixing style today.
As an adolesent Chase was involved in school band, and various at home garage bands. He learned to play several different percussion instruments, drums, and guitar. A few years later after meeting DJ Tommy Guns, he was introduced to, and developed a love for underground hip hop. He always wanted to be involved in music, so DJing seemed to be a very sensible outlet. He began practicing spinning underground hip hop vinyls on tommys turntables.
Having percussion, jazz, and hip hop in his background developed his sense of timing and a great ear for rythm.

After graduating high school Chase found out that his true passion wasn't in jazz, or hip hop, but in house music. Shortly after he discovered his love of house music, he purchased his first set of cd turntables. His early musical influences were guys like Benny Banassi, Donald Glaude, and Kaskade.
Late in the summer of 2007 at a Las Vegas pool party Chase was introduced to a Minimal house producer and Dj by the name of Thom Svast. Thom began to mentor Chase by teaching him about building suspense and creating dramatic bass drops with sound effects. Thom also opened his eyes to a whole different style of house music known as minimal house. Chase enjoyed minimal, a darker and more simplified type of house music, but felt that it was lacking in areas.
Chase began to build a name for himself by playing gigs at local Las Vegas bars and lounges. Then he began to pick up more upscale gigs at penthouse's, clubs, Mansions, and the famous Las Vegas after afterparties which can run on for days. Once he had built his resume, fame, and skill set in the Las Vegas area, he decided it was time for a change of scenery.
Chase recently returned to Las Vegas to play at the world famous Drais afterhours along with sevaral other premier Las Vegas clubs, performing along side djs like Chris Garcia, Dj Replay "Fabian Archie", The Vegas House Mafia, Dj Vibe, and Svast and Stellar to name a few. While in Las Vegas Chase was invited be a featured guest Dj on Vibe 94.5 radio twice. Dj PaperChase is, and will continue be touring the United States and Europe throughout 2010.
