mily Reynolds is the owner of My Spoiled Pet . Ever since childhood , Emily has been passionate about caring for animals . And even though her journey was anything but easy , Emily turned her passion into a career . Diagnosed with Emily with Cali Graves Thyroid Disease in 2002 and dealing with years of her life spent in treatment , Emily has come out the other side better than ever and passionately living her dream . Her path to My Spoiled Pet was a journey of evolving animal services , starting with helping neighbors ’ and friends ’ pets , then volunteering at shelters and working with rescue dogs and cats from the illegal meat trade during her travels , and finally serving as a flight volunteer bringing rescue dogs to their forever home - including her own dingo mix , Brownie .
During her many experiences , Emily was introduced to fellow animal lovers and the
prevalence of rescued animals in San Diego , as well as the special needs that these families and their pets have . This was a perfect opportunity for Emily to pursue her calling .
For Emily and her team , My Spoiled Pet is much more than a simple pet sitting and dog walking business ; they are personally invested in each animal they care for , becoming part of their fur family . When asked about her philosophy , Emily shared with a pet ’ s life magazine that she feels that “ to care for an animal while an owner is at work or the whole family is on vacation for two weeks is a huge responsibility and quite frankly , an honor .”
Emily ’ s focus is providing one-on-one care while facilitating exercise , feeding , medication , transportation , and most importantly , acting as the pack leader who cares for both the animals and the home she is in . Her devotion to animals goes above and beyond her business .
