How does school affect future job opportunities?

In addition to developing life skills, a good education can improve future job opportunities. Companies look for some kind of education. Though high school diplomas are useful, a college degree is even better. The higher education you get the more likely you are to progress and make more money within a job. With no completed education getting a fulfilling job/career will be quite difficult. If you do happen to get a fulfilling job without any college degree you will not get paid as much as someone with a college degree would. Many careers also have something called “glass ceilings”. These are roles, positions, and salaries that cannot be reached without a college degree. It will not matter how talented or how much experience you have.
