Going to school may seem like a useless pain sometimes. However, there is way more to it than just sitting in a classroom working on papers of boring subjects.

WHY IS SCHOOL SO IMPORTANT?

This question may seem obvious but the fact that so many children and teens undervalue the gift of education shows that it isn't so ovbious.

Getting an education is super important! Though some classes may seem unrelated to anything you will ever need, school is actually teaching you many things other than facts. As you go through school you learn imperative communication skills that will be required all through your life, long after high school. Along with communicating, school can help

individuals learn to connect with others and form lasting relationships. Progressing classes and the necessity to keep up with things helps students to start learning responsibility which will also be important all through life.

However, to gain these skills, good attendance will be necessary. Poor attendance can lead to missing precious time learning to communicate, insecurity and lowered confidence. It can also have negative effects on peers and teachers. Peers may start seeing low attendance students as leaders and try to follow them. Teachers may become worried about a consistently absent student, causing them to get distracted more often.
