HOW THEY MET
I saw a photo of Igor with a mutual
friend and immediately thought to my-
self ‘I had to meet him’. If you know me,
you would know I often don’t keep my
thoughts to myself, so I told our friend
that I was interested. Within a few hours
Igor had messaged me and a few hours
after that we had plans to meet for coffee
that weekend. Sometimes when you
know, you just know!

THE PROPOSAL
Igor planned a trip to the Montage in
Laguna Beach for the weekend. He
asked me to plan the weekend as he
knew that would definitely have me busy
and distracted. We spent the day to-
gether having drinks on the beach.
When it came time to go to our suite
there was a bottle of champagne and a
beautiful ocean view. We spent some
time on our patio soaking up the view
when Igor brought out a movie he made.
With no introduction he played it for me
— it was all of our photos from our first
to most recent (at that point I was obvi-
ously bawling). He let it play until the
end, then he got on one knee. To be
honest, I didn’t even hear what he was
saying because all I could think was yes!!!
