“ This year ’ s theme challenged us to consider what modality offers us the opportunity to experience and pursue freedom . The answer is LOVE . When we experience love , whether being in it , offered it or receiving it , we transcend our own boundaries , we believe in the impossible , and for a lot of us , freedom is impossible . However , when we tap into unconditional and blissful love , that exists just because we are , we realize that freedom is the opportunity and space to exist as the full human beings we know ourselves to be . This year ’ s theme is the first step towards freedom . It calls us to ourselves and to our communities to dream what freedom can look like , what it feels like , and who are the people standing next to us when we are free .”
