A little Gray Building

Wind as light as a feather

But better.

It cools you down on a hot summer day.

And gives you the shivers a long way away.

The trees bend in the wind.

Their leaves turn colors.

It feels as a feather would.

I like the wind.

It helps my kite fly high in the sky.

As it goes away, my mom says,

It will come back some day.

I say, I miss my friend.

I write him letters, but I know he can’t write.

My mom says she’ll mail them.

She winks at my dad, I know.
