The sky grumbles like a big hungry belly
Roars like an angry lion
And then the sky flashes brighter than a camera
And my eyes are filled as if with an ocean of light
Wow! Oh, wow—how very bright
And what is this falling on me now?
It’s like a teenie tiny pond dropped onto my forehead
Then another and another and another and another
Like a great big shower was turned on in the clouds
Or like the grumbly, hungry lion in the sky just sneezed
And when he did, his teeth shined brighter than the sun
Glimmering in the little lakes falling from above
