A girl who puts adventure and excitement before manners was referred to as a flapper this is the sort of behavior distributed by girls in their late teens.They would dress in short skirts , wear excessive make up , listen to jazz music and attend night clubs where they danced seductively they also dated freely and smoked cigarettes.
