What Is Wedding Content Creation And How Does It Differ From Hiring A Photographer Or Videographer ?
Wedding content creation is where I work closely with the couple to document their special day by taking shortened videos / photos or even trending TikToks .
All of the raw unedited videos and photos taken are delivered all within 24 hours of their special day so they can share it with friends , family or on their social media platforms whilst they wait for their professional photos and wedding video .
Photographers and videographers are two crucial vendors to have at your wedding , and a content creator is a great addition to the team to capture the more behind the scenes candid moments .
We differ from photographers and videographers as the content we take is purely only being taken on an iPhone ( I use an iPhone 15 Pro Max ).
What Inspired You To Get Into Wedding Content Creation ? I love nothing more than capturing moments . I have always been that one friend who has her phone or camera in her hand wherever I go . I love knowing I am part of capturing a couple ’ s very own time capsule and giving them clear footage of those moments they may not have seen for themselves or not taken in fully on the day .
What Kind Of Content Do You Create For Couples ? I create reels for the married couple to be able to watch their wedding day back the very next day .
Before the wedding I meet with the bride and groom and talk through what it is they are wanting from the videos I take . This is when I can share some experiences or ideas too which they have been so grateful for as the outcome of their reel is something they have said ‘ they will cherish forever ’.
I manage to capture some beautiful candid moments in photos too while taking my content .
Your wedding is a whirlwind and moments happen where someone will say ‘ I wish I captured that ’. Providing this service means you won ’ t have to worry about this as I ’ ll be there to capture it for you .
Couples can allow their guests to be completely phone free and present at their wedding , so they can take it all in , enjoy being in the moment and have someone do it all for them .
What ’ s Been Your Favourite Wedding To Capture So Far ? I ’ ve loved every wedding I have captured as they have all been so different . However , my all time favourite to date would be when the bride and groom went to the beach for their wedding photos .
The beach is my favourite place to be and on that particular day it was completely empty , the sand was completely smooth , the tide was out and it couldn ’ t have been more perfect . The videos I took were just so beautiful , the two of them walking along the beach , hand in hand .
What Trends Do You Think We ’ ll Be Seeing In Weddings For 2025 ?
I definitely think there are a lot of TikTok trends currently with bridal parties and it ’ s something I ’ m being asked more and more to do and help coordinate on the day .
I know TikTok transition videos are very popular for bridal parties and this is also in demand , I can see this becoming more of a request in future weddings .
Over The Next Year , What Do You Think Couples Will Be Wanting From Their Wedding Content ?
I am asked a lot to record the speeches because that is one thing they really want to watch and listen back to . I have invested in some microphones to provide during these speeches so the recordings are clear for their videos .
Do You Have A Particular Wedding Venue In Kent You Really Like ?
The Old Kent Barn and Crown Lodge in Wye are two beautiful venues that I really like . I ’ ve been to a wedding as a guest in both of these venues and everything from the decor to the staff is really amazing .
