WHAT COLOUR PALETTES FOR DECORATIONS AND DRESSES WORK REALLY WELL IN PHOTOS ? It can look really striking when the bridesmaid dresses are different shades and / or styles ! Other than the more formal photos , we always try to do some fun and relaxed photos of the bride with her bridesmaids later on in the day - golden hour often really sets any colours off beautifully .
WHAT ARE YOUR TOP TIPS FOR COUPLES LOOKING FOR VIBRANT WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY ? We love creating colourful images , whether that ’ s from a natural backdrop or the chosen styling of the couple . Even if the wedding outfits are fairly neutral , pops of colour can be introduced by wearing a flower crown , the beautiful vibrant florals , a colourful buttonhole or some funky shoes !
HOW CAN YOU CAPTURE BRIGHT AND VIVID IMAGES AT A WINTER WEDDING ? Firstly , we always encourage our couples to get outside for some photos , no matter the weather - even for five minutes . It ’ s well worth it - bring some shoes for this so your wedding shoes aren ’ t ruined or soaked through ! Otherwise , we will seek creative alternatives , and embrace the cosiness , either by setting lighting up or making the most of window light if the weather is too terrible to get out .
FOR COUPLES LOOKING FOR AN INSTA-WORTHY WEDDING SET UP , WHAT WOULD YOU RECOMMEND ? Think about the season and use colours and styling that reflect that as well as taking into account the venue and what it already offers that you can build on ; is the location rustic , minimal , urban ? Your florist will be a great starting point ; consider too faux flowers or greenery to not only keep costs down but add maximum impact . Adding vintage style sofas and chairs in an area - inside or out - maybe a wall of flowers , or some neon signage - great for photo opportunities ! Use a wedding stylist if you can ; they are worth every penny for creating the perfect vibe and bringing your vision to life .
YOUR PHOTOS ARE USUALLY FULL OF COLOUR , HOW DO YOU CREATE THE LOOK AND FEEL OF YOUR IMAGES ? For the couple portraits , we choose our backdrops specifically to enhance colours and show them off . Lots of close up shots to really show the details of both the florals and wedding outfits , plus the lenses we use are wonderful at making colours pop ! And it ’ s all about the light - that ’ s when the magic happens and we will drop everything to chase it !
