From photo booths to signature cocktails ( check out page 112 for more inspo ), there ’ s a whole host of ways to throw a fun-filled wedding . But , for 2023 there ’ s some new trends you might want to check out if you fancy entertaining your guests in a different way .
TREASURE HUNT A great option for children and adults alike , a treasure hunt with clues to find around the venue is a fun way to keep guests entertained throughout the day . You could include questions about you as a couple , items to find with personal significance and offer prizes at the end to those who complete the hunt .
SPORTS DAY Perfect for a summer wedding , a sports day where all of your guests can get involved in games like rounders , running races or the egg and spoon is a lovely way to bring everyone together and have fun in the process . Obviously as the newly wedded couple you ’ ll have first dibs on your teammates , so pick wisely !

against walls in LA ), but now it ’ s finding its way to weddings too . Offering a playful aesthetic , the pink backdrop can be used as part of a photobooth set up , or even as part of your wedding décor - you could say your vows in front of it , or use it as the background for your speeches .
SILENT DISCO Many couples are choosing to let the celebrations continue long after the DJ or band has played their last song , by having a silent disco to follow . This is a really fun way to keep the party going , but it also helps to keep the noise at a minimum if you ’ re getting married at a venue where there ’ s a sound curfew .
BINGO No longer a game for retired folk , bingo has had a resurgence , and now it ’ s becoming a popular wedding entertainment option , too . If you ’ re looking for a way to make your wedding breakfast a little less traditional , then a good old game of bingo could be just the way to do it .
