What are some of the hair and beauty trends that summer brides are requesting?
The brides that I’ m working with this summer frequently ask for a modern yet elegant look, which thankfully is one of my favourite things to create! When it comes to hairstyles, one of the most popular remains a bun; both low and high buns are so versatile, simply beautiful and suit most bridal styles, from sleek and chic to‘ undone’. The bun is a timeless style and looks gorgeous, especially when added with a sparkly accessory or pretty flowers. Buns work especially well in the summer months, keeping the hair off your neck.
Another absolute classic is the Hollywood wave. This year I am seeing a shift towards a softer, more relaxed feel; some of my brides are leaning towards a more brushed out wave for a less structured look.
When it comes to beauty and makeup, fresh, glowing and dewy is still the preference for most of my brides. They’ re all wanting to look like themselves, just a more polished and elegant version! Bronzed with soft bridal tones and defined, beautiful eyes are a must.
You specialise in‘ soft glam’ makeup’; can you describe what this look is and why it’ s so popular with brides?

I would advise that brides should look to book their wedding hair and makeup as early as possible; ideally 12 to 18 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season. This ensures you can choose your preferred artist that suits your style.
As for the trial, I’ d suggest scheduling this three to four months before the
