Set in the beautiful surroundings of Kearsney Abbey , the Grade II listed Billiards Room offers a stunning new venue for couples wanting an intimate wedding .
The carefully restored building , which dates back to the 1870s , boasts floor-toceiling oak panelling , period features and views across the picturesque parkland and lake .
A stained-glass ceiling lantern and south-facing French windows allow light to spill into the historic room , which is the last remaining part of a gothic manor which previously stood on the estate in Temple Ewell near Dover .
Guests will be able to see the array of wildlife which frequents Kearsney Parks , and the setting makes the perfect backdrop for those all-important wedding pictures .
The Billiards Room , which launched its wedding offering just this year , can hold 40 guests for a wedding ceremony and reception with evening entertainment .
