OUR KENTISH CEREMONY
MARRIED AT BEACH HUT WEDDINGS
HERNE BAY HAYLEY AND NEIL PETTERS ’ COASTAL WEDDING DREAMS BECAME A REALITY WHEN THEY TIED THE KNOT SURROUNDED BY FRIENDS , FAMILY AND STUNNING SEASIDE SCENERY

THE VENUE We chose to get married at Beach Hut Weddings which is on Herne Bay Pier , because we actually saw a wedding taking place and thought how nice it looked . We didn ’ t see any other venues - we ’ d always wanted to get married by the sea , so this was perfect for us . After our ceremony and wedding breakfast , we held our reception at another local venue - 83 Mortimer , which is also in Herne Bay .
THE OUTFITS My wedding dress was from Pronovias - I was looking for a vintage look , and this was perfect as it had a high neck and long sleeves . I teamed my dress with a pair of boots from House of Elliot . The bridesmaid dresses were from Needle & Thread and the groomsmen ’ s suits were from ASOS .
THE FOOD For our wedding breakfast we had an afternoon tea on the pier provided by Beach Hut weddings , which was a lovely , relaxed meal . Later on , we had a gourmet BBQ at our reception provided by Katy at Minno Kitchen , who was recommended to us by Beach Hut Weddings .
THE PHOTOGRAPHY Our photographer was Colin Sherlock , who we chose after he was recommended to us . We liked the look of his portfolio and his natural photography style was what we were looking for . Our favourite photo from the day is one of us holding hands and walking past the beach huts .
THE ENTERTAINMENT During the ceremony and to walk down the aisle to , we had soul singer Gary Emanuel performing live . We ’ re both huge Chaz n Dave fans so our reception entertainment was Daz n Chave - a Chaz n Dave tribute act ! We had our first dance to Ain ’ t no Pleasing You , a song that ’ s appropriate for us .
THE HIGHLIGHT Our highlight of the day was definitely becoming married … and also riding the carousel !
