Welcome
Welcome to your spring issue of A Kentish Ceremony . Spring is when wedding season really kicks into gear - and that ’ s why in this issue we ’ ve got loads of experts guiding you through every step of the planning process , as well as lots of style inspiration and creative ideas .
What ’ s more , after hosting the Kent Wedding Awards , we can exclusively reveal all of the winners from what was a brilliant celebration of Kent ’ s best wedding talent ( page 68 ). I ’ m already looking forward to next year ’ s event !
On page 60 we look at some of Kent ’ s most magical and romantic venues to sweep you off your feet , and on page 80 there ’ s some gorgeous dresses to make you feel like you ’ re in your very own fairytale .
Brown might not be the first colour you think of when it comes to weddings , but it ’ s a big trend for this year - we ’ ve got everything you need to know , including how to recreate the look on page 34 .
When it comes to choosing your perfect menu for your wedding day , don ’ t forget about the evening eats ! On page 110 there ’ s loads of ideas for fun foodie crowd-pleasers that you can snack on late into the night .
And of course , we ’ ve got a whole host of gorgeous real weddings from brides and grooms who ’ ve held their very own Kentish ceremonies in one of the county ’ s gorgeous venues . I always love reading about other people ’ s wedding days , although it makes me want to do it all over again ( and I ’ m nearly a decade in ! Perhaps a renewal of vows could be on the cards …?)
I hope you enjoy this spring issue , and I ’ ll see you in the summer !
