MARRIED AT THE OLD KENT BARN
DOVER GRACE AND CRAIG HILLS CELEBRATED THEIR SPECIAL DAY IN STYLE - WITH PLENTY OF SWEET TREATS ALONG THE WAY

THE VENUE Because of Covid restrictions , we actually viewed The Old Kent Barn via Zoom call , and fell in love with it . It was the most perfect venue for us as it ’ s absolutely beautiful and is so detailed and so well looked after , it ’ s breathtaking ! Also , the staff are more than you could ever ask for , they ’ re all so helpful and on the day we couldn ’ t have wished for more .
THE DRESS My wedding dress was the perfect summer wedding dress . It was from Isabella Grace Bridal , and when I put it on I just fell in love . I knew it was exactly what I was looking for ; trying it on was a very emotional moment with family members . To add to my dress , I had a special necklace which was a gift from my sister . It had my new initials engraved onto it , and it was the perfect finishing touch .
THE HAIR & MAKEUP For my hair I actually used a close family friend Charlotte who is a hairdresser and is absolutely fantastic - I was so pleased with my beautiful hair style for my special day . For my makeup I had Jade Ewen who was also amazing . She is incredible at what she does , my makeup was perfect .
THE CEREMONY My favourite moment of the ceremony was meeting Craig at the end of the aisle , it was very emotional and exciting ! For my husband Craig , it was seeing me and our two children Arlo and Ayda walk down the aisle , he said it was such a special moment . I entered to Christina Perri ’ s 1000 Years . We love this song as one of the first films we watched together was Twilight , which this song features in .
THE DÉCOR Our décor and colour scheme was very neutral , we had white , beige , cream and cappuccino colours . I decided on this as I ’ ve always loved plain and simple - when researching on Pinterest and seeing simple colours I just knew it was exactly what I wanted !
Jo Marchant from Moody Blooms was our florist , she was fantastic . Her flowers were absolutely stunning and her attention to detail is unbelievable . I couldn ’ t have asked for more , it was perfect .
THE ENTERTAINMENT For our entertainment , we hired a sweet cart , a doughnut wall and giant garden games , and we also had a photobooth . Then , in the evening we had a band - The Black Hat Band ; they had actually performed at a friend ’ s birthday party and we loved them so much we decided to book them for our wedding .
THE PHOTOGRAPHY Our photographer was Daniel Luke . He was recommended to us , and he was so chilled and easygoing . He worked around us and our day whilst capturing the moments we will treasure forever . We are beyond pleased with our photos and forever grateful for the beautiful pictures . We also had a videographer to capture the day - Harry from Diamond9productions was a school friend of ours , and he created the most beautiful video of our day capturing all of the really special moments .
THE HIGHLIGHT Our absolute highlight has to be the first dance . It was such a special moment . We ’ d enjoyed all of the emotions all day and it was so nice just to share that happy moment of us .
