The most beautiful thing about photographing weddings all year round is embracing the seasons , and autumn is a particular favourite for many photographers for several reasons :
1 . The change in the season means you can embrace the beautiful colours , and foliage in an array of sunset tones make for the most picturesque backdrop . It might be worth scoping out the venue to look for photo ops before the big day - ensuring to incorporate those leafy scenes .
2 . To really embrace the season , incorporate leaves and have fun with them ! Use them as a backdrop for ring shots or finer details . Incorporate autumnal accents into every aspect of your shoot , and have fun !
3 . During autumn , golden hour is the perfect time to capture your bride and groom portraits . Wait until the sun is low in the sky and capture those beautiful orange hues against an autumnal backdrop .
4 . Don ’ t forget to have a wrap or blanket to hand ; as much as autumn can be beautiful , it can also bring a chillier spell of weather and sometimes rain , so be prepared for all weather .
