ELEVATE YOUR FIZZ A great way to switch up your prosecco , is to add elderflower cordial and lemon juice – it creates the perfect balance of sparkling with sweet , and always goes down a treat .
APEROL SWITCH Aperol is popular in the summer , but if your wedding is in the autumn , we suggest switching to a Campari Spritz . It has a similar colour , but offers something a little different .
TAKE IT SLOE In the autumn , switch from pink gin to a Sloe Gin Fizz . Made by mixing sloe gin with lemon juice , and soda water , this seasonal drink can be garnished with a lemon wheel and blackberry to give it that wow-factor on your wedding day .
PUMP IT UP We all love an espresso martini , but to add an autumnal twist , make it pumpkin spiced . To make it , simply shake vodka , espresso , coffee liqueur and pumpkin spiced syrup , before garnishing it with grated nutmeg . Delicious !
FALL FOR FRUIT A real crowd-pleaser from September to December , our Apple & Ginger Mojito is incredibly popular during the summer to autumn transitional period . Made with white rum , muddled limes , apple juice , sugar syrup , ginger beer , mint , and a slice of apple , this fallstyle mojito retains its classic taste but with a special autumnal twist .
WHAT DO COUPLES NEED TO CONSIDER WHEN CHOOSING THEIR WEDDING DRINKS ? This can feel like a tricky decision to make at first , but our advice is that it ’ s best not to overthink it . Start by choosing your favourite drinks as the menu base , and make sure you have at least your two favourite drinks on the menu . It is your day , after all ! Then , to ensure your guests are all catered for , consider having a variety of drinks and flavours available . For example , you could opt for a menu that includes something sparkling , a beer , spirits such as gin , rum or vodka with mixers , along with a couple of your favourite cocktails .
OFTEN PEOPLE WORRY ABOUT FINDING DRINKS THAT ’ LL APPEAL TO A WIDE RANGE OF TASTES - WHAT WOULD YOU ADVISE ? A lot of couples worry about pleasing everyone with their drinks selection . But in our experience , we have found that as long as there is a sparkling drink , a beer , a slightly more bitter spirit and mixer , such as gin & tonic , and a sweeter spirit and mixer , such as rum & coke , then there is something for everyone to drink . You could also choose a range of spiritbased cocktails in order to cater for everyone .
