This was an increase of 125% in less than four years. This manufacturing capacity did not include the plants in Cernay, France; Cowdenbeath, Scotland; Rochester, England; Sydney, Australia; or Tokyo, Japan. • By 1978, annual export sales represented almost a third of the company’s worldwide sales volume!
