Key differences from Baseball.    There is only one innings per side. One side bats the full number of pitches, and then the other side bats. Baseball has four bases, Cricket has two. There are no baseplates but there are three sticks at each base and these are called stumps or wickets.  Cricket always has two batters on these two bases.   A batter has 360 degrees of area to hit the ball in. There is no foul ball. A pitcher, is called (and henceforth will be referred to as) a bowler.
