Sometimes public art can cause
controversy, sometimes lively discussion,
but it can never be ignored.
Wilmington has cheerfully decorated
dinasours which pop up in unexpected
places. The art birdhouses dotted along
the Riverfront walkway beside the
Christina River were created by artist
Thomas Burke. They are made of
reclaimed wood and are based on
paintings by Andrew Wyeth.
