Access: Refers to school-related input factors that facilitate the
access of vulnerable children and influence whether a child is
present in the classroom or not.
Participation: Refers to school-related process factors that
facilitate a sense of belonging, a sense of competence and a
sense of autonomy in the child. Meaningful participation is shared
with peers of the same age group and is oriented towards goals
that are relevant for society and the individual.
Achievement: Refers to school effect on children and youth: what
has a child achieved as a result of participating in education?
