from Strachan Avenue to Spadina Avenue, transforming a once
forgotten space into vibrant common ground. This project
is leveraging what was always there, by turning it into a vital

Even in our dense downtown core, the observant urban dweller can spot the rambling grapevines or clusters of serviceberry
bushes in between buildings. This Jane’s Walk examined
these delicious, beautiful, and hard-working urban trees,
and discovered a storied past and the ongoing presence of
urban agriculture in our city.
A Day in the Life of Marginalized Youth

young people face in our city and offered some ideas about
