The intent of the questions that were posed at the workshop was to introduce participants to the ideas laid out
in The Framework Convention on the Value of Cultural
Heritage for Society (‘The Faro Convention’— presented
by the Council of Europe and adopted by ICOMOS in
2005) to determine if these principles make sense in the
context of the heritage work that they are doing in their
day to day practice.
