A Quick Bite With Chef Lee

At Sweet and Savory Restaurant in Gonzales, LA, Chef Brandon Lee is known for his famous shrimp and grits dish.

While receiving a traditional degree from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Lee knew that his passion was in cooking. Lee watched his parents in the kitchen daily and was inspired by his adolescent working experiences.

After leaving the healthcare field after seven years, Lee began to work his way up to the top, eventually becoming the executive sous chef at Hollywood Casino Grill. With all of his hard work paying off, The American Culinary Federation named Lee Chef of Louisiana in 2015.
